Booking policy

To avoid overbooking or misunderstandings while reservation process and reduce the cost of accommodation for our guests, all bookings are to be made directly only. We don’t work with agents, agencies or booking systems.

What kind of info we will request from you

• Dates: either flexible or fixed,

• Amount of adults and kids to be accommodated (capacity listed in cottage description),

• Exact arrival and departure time in case tickets are booked,

• Is airport/ferry port transfer required upon arrival
  (Service on cost, provided by Thai drivers only, direct payment).

Payment Procedure

1. Deposit payment (prior arrival),

2. Accommodation fee payment (within a day or two upon arrival),

3. Electricity reimbursement (on check out),

4. Deposit back pay (on check out).

1. Deposit payment

   
   

   a). On site. If you or your friends are in Samui, come to see us.
   
   b). If you wish to pay deposit by BACS directly into our account in Thai Baht, you will be liable for any bank transfer and exchange fees. Please contact us for bank details.

2. Accommodation fee payment
   
   Full payment for your Cottage rental has to be made in Thai Baht (THB) within a day or two upon arrival.

NB: For bookings under 10 nights booking deposit may be considered as prepayment and deducted from the total amount.

Any variations in payment terms must be agreed before arrival.

3. Electricity reimbursement

For short term bookings on a special rate

as well as

bookings over 10 nights,

electricity usage will be charged at 7 THB per 1 kW.

The costs are accounted from day one. Electricity to be reimbursed at the end of rental term, or monthly for long stays.

4. Deposit back pay

Deposit is refundable on check out providing there is no damage or disturbances reported, the electricity bill is reimbursed.

In case of booking cancellation, deposit is non-refundable.

• Studios A1, B3 & One Bedrooms A2, B1, B2 – 7000 THB

• Two Bedrooms A3, A4 – 10000 THB

• Villa – 15000 THB

Check-In & Check-Out

Usually we do not limit our guests on the time at which they can check in or check out – either early or late arrival/departure possible. But sometimes there are situations when check-out and check-in occur on the same day. In this case, we ask our guests to adhere to the following rule:

Check-in time: 14:00
Check-out time: 11:00

Therefore, please notify us in advance at what time your arrival and/or departure is planned and whether you need our help in organizing the transfer (Transfer service provided by our Thai neighbours, fee applicable).

Accommodation Fee

Rates quoted below are THB per night for guests staying 5-14 days. For longer stays and payment on arrival, please email Victoria.

A1 – Pool side studio – 1800 THB per night

A2 – Pool side one-bedroom – 2000 THB per night

A3 – Two-bedroom – 3500 THB per night

A4 – Two-bedroom – 4000 THB per night

B1 & B2 – Garden side one-bedrooms – 1900 THB per night

B3 – Garden side studio – 1700 THB per night

For bookings under 14 nights over high season December to March, no discounts available.

Long Term Rentals

Monthly rentals can be negotiated on request.

Pool side studio A1 and one bedroom cottage A2: let us know your requirements and we will revert with a discounted nightly rate.

Garden side studio B3, one bedroom cottages B1 and B2 as well as two bedrooms A3 and A4 available for long term rentals (3 months +) on a special rate.

NB:

With only 7 boutique cottages at River Gardens, we are often fully booked over high season December to March. We have a number of returning guests to whom we like to give booking preferences each year. Please try and book early to avoid disappointment.

Group bookings are most welcome.
